PDWatch protects company owned information on data exchange media, mobile data storage devices and during transportation – automatically embedded in the operating system.

User friendly encryption

VIP-users know about the sensitivity of data and do not have time for special technical treatment with encryption software which generally is not user friendly. Here, PDWatch is a welcome exception. The encryption is automatically integrated into all functions of the operating system. The user’s latitude is centrally defined: Is he allowed to assign his personal keys or may he only work with company predefined keys? Which data may he exchange with third parties…? Obviously, all security characteristics can be centrally managed.

...and the trivial data?

Should the directions to your company, the product information in the marketing department be encrypted before sending it to your business partner? PDWatch allows the co-existence of non-encrypted and encrypted data on one data storage medium. You can centrally manage who may export which non-encrypted information, also depending on the single data storage medium. Encrypted digital cameras do not boot!

When plugging in a mobile data storage device, PDWatch automatically starts and indicates to the user that special confidentiality guidelines apply for this data storage device within the company’s network.

Local Safe

Is there special data that needs to be protected on the hard drive of the PC? Administrators should not have access? PDWatch also protects local data against unauthorized access.

Compliance

Data Protection Acts require special security measures for the storage of person-identifiable data onto mobile data storage media. PDWatch meets these requirements. You can hand over the responsibility to the user with simple guidelines in a controlled and evidenced way - even without patronizing the user.

Different keys – one data storage device

You would like to save sales offers for different customers on one data storage device? No problem for PDWatch! After entering the correct key on site, only the desired data is readable, all other data is still protected.
